My love for travel began in childhood, during those rare but cherished family vacations where life slowed down and togetherness took center stage. Whether it was fishing with my dad, visiting theme parks, or cruising with my parents, those moments created lifelong memories and taught me the true value of quality time.

As an adult and a mom of four — two of whom have special needs — I’ve learned firsthand that family travel can feel overwhelming. The planning, the cost, and the “what ifs” can hold us back. But after finding ways to make travel work for our family, I realized how transformative it can be when accessibility and understanding are part of the process. Watching my children find joy and calm in those shared experiences reminded me why these moments matter so much — not only for any family, but especially for those navigating special or medical needs. Vacations should be part of every family’s “must-dos.” They provide the chance to slow down, reconnect, and give meaningful attention to those who matter most. As your travel agent, my goal is to take the stress out of planning so you can focus on what truly counts.

That’s why I founded Coastal 2 Caribbean Travel LLC — to help families create vacations they can feel confident and comfortable taking, with the support of someone who truly understands their “why.” My mission is simple: you can earn money back, but you can’t get time back. Let’s make the most of it through meaningful travel that connects, restores, and inspires.

While I specialize in cruise vacations and select destination experiences I’ve certified in, I love designing all types of travel. From couples’ getaways and family vacations to celebratory trips, corporate or school events, wellness retreats, and group cruises — I’m here to make each journey seamless and memorable. My focus is always on creating travel that fits you perfectly, blending comfort, connection, and adventure.

  • Prior to my husband and I beginning our family, he knew vacations meant a lot to me, however he didn’t experience these when growing up, and vacation time is not something we always earn a lot of. So with our time we tried to make what we can out of the weeks he had.

    When we began our family, we took our son to Disney for his 1st birthday and he just loved every minute of it. We were hooked! However things changed rapidly over that next year putting all vacations to a halt as his developments had been altered and it was our primary focus to get him all the help we could.

  • The struggles we faced over the next few years and having 2 special needs children had added to the time in between our little adventures and also made some small trips quite challenging. As time went on, vacations would seem to get pricier with each child we added into our clan. The days would pass and the longing for a vacation with deepened need for one, would seem further away. Adding the fears of our children struggling in an overwhelming environment when we have spent money we may not have really been able to spend, seemed quite scary and often deterred us away from securing some of those vacations we really wanted to try with them.

  • It wasn’t until we connected with a company that supported families like ours that everything began to shift. It gave us the confidence to step outside our comfort zone and take those long-overdue leaps into new adventures — and the rest is history. Our children began to truly benefit from that dedicated “family time,” and as parents, we finally felt the relief and joy of slowing down together. Soon, we were hooked, we knew travel was possible! — We began exploring beyond local spots and doing short getaways, and embracing the world with new excitement and purpose with each one allowing us to get further and further as the kids really enjoyed it. It was not only a therapy tool for all of us but a celebration for the hard work we all put in as a family, overcoming things that once scared or caused us hesitation.

  • Our children now find the same peace and happiness I once felt growing up, knowing these moments are ours — intentional, connected, and full of love. Because life isn’t easy; it’s busy and unpredictable. There’s no manual for parenthood, and childhood moves faster than we realize. That’s why now is the time to nurture relationships, create memories, and capture the laughter and calm emotions that come from simply being together.
